Feature Film ›Bolly Double‹
Senior Grading artist David Hedley and DOP Laurence Blyth collaborated to create a vibrant tone for the project -- lush and saturated to match the mood and spirit of the film. The colour palette is a playful compliment to the moods of the characters; both reflecting and enhancing the tones and locations of the story. The Optix Compositing team also put the complex "Clockwork" set to life, from multiple live-action plates. Optix Design team created the opening title design and animation based on Indian fabric patterns and colours. The opening uses kaleidoscopic effects and colorful patterns combined with text animations cut to the music. We also created a fun piece featuring live footage of the cast dancing combined with animated backgrounds for this feature.
