CG art was only a hobby to this preadolescent in high school. At 16 years of age, having traveled out of his own country and lived in several parts of Asia like Turkey and Malaysia, several windows of opportunity to improve his artistry opened. There in Asia, he pursued a 2-year art and animation course. Wanting more, he moved to Toronto, Canada where he completed another 2 years of Digital Animation course in Centennial College.
Today, CG is no longer just a hobby but a passion for him. Pooya's enthusiasm and deep passion for Animation keeps him busy with not only work at Optix but he also teaches in the evenings as a teaching assistant at Centennial College where he graduated. He is also currently furthering his studies and skills online with AnimationMentor.
His hobbies and leisure now includes photography, spending time with his wife and their new Doberman puppy who is almost as big as his wife.
