Xi has been working as an automation control engineer for 5 years after he graduate from university in China. As a headbanger and bass player, he also worked with many amazing local artists and musicians back home. He loves music and visual arts.
One day, he just thought that he might need to start a new career and escape from this busy city where he has been living here for long enough. He decided to move to Canada.
After studying in the Art and Design Foundation Studies in Centennial College, Xi got into the 14 months Digital Animation Program. He had so much fun and really gets in to the animation and visual effects world.
He did his internship at Optix Digital Pictures and got his first job here as an animator and compositor. He has been working on The Quest of The Unicorn and Dino Dan .
He is enjoying his new life in this beautiful country with his wife and two kitty cats. But yes, he is still a Headbanger with neck problems.
