Yorgo has been cutting picture since high-school, where he was more of an Audio/Video employee than a student. In 2003 he graduated from the Vancouver Film School with a strong emphasis on post production. Yorgo’s main focus is always telling a good story, he takes pride in being an organic storyteller with his top to bottom knowledge of the motion picture process, both in a technical and creative standpoint. Yorgo has cut television spots, documentaries, films and sport promos. Throughout the years his client list has included, MLSE, Cookie Jar Entertainment, Abu Dhabi Sports, CBC and Warner.
Yorgo is a filmmaker, his work has been screened around the world in film festivals and small distribution. He has edited gigs in all three Optix locations (Germany, Dubai and Toronto) and he also serves as a technical consultant for top film festivals including TIFF and Sundance.
