Book a meeting with Paul and he will bring over 20 years of reputable television experience, not to mention a good sense of humour and a decent attitude, to the boardroom table.
Back in the day (mid 80’s) Paul worked a couple of jobs at the CBC while earning an Applied Arts degree in Radio & Television Arts, from Ryerson University. He then worked freelance for many of the leading music video and commercial production companies, gaining valuable on-set experience.
He made the transition to post production landing at Scene by Scene, an online editorial company, where throughout the early 90’s he served as General Manager.
Having been with Optix since its inception,translates into another 11 years of tremendous history. During this timeframe Paul witnessed the business’ transition from a small post production shop, to a mid-sized boutique that provides services in animation, visual effects, broadcast design and colour grading, for many genres of the television marketplace.
From 2001 through 2004, Paul served on the Board of Directors of CPAT (the Commercial Production Association) as the representative for the Post community in Toronto.
Since the fall of 2005 to the present, Paul serves on the Board of Directors of CASO (the Computer Animation Studios of Ontario).
